I absolutely love the account manager meetings we have two times a month.  It’s my opportunity to present ideas and get feedback from a group of people I’ve known and trust.  They will tell me when my ideas are “way out there” or if my ideas “hit the target”.  At a recent meeting, I brought up the topic of “Forensic ROI”.  Our spirited discussions lead to an “Anatomy of an Authorization”.  Ron Raymond, Vice President of Attain Document Services and CM Information Specialists put the pen to the paper and wrote the article about “Forensic ROI.”  Ronda Sargent, Account Manager wrote the “Anatomy of an Authorization.” 

Our thoughts from those meetings spill into memos, and directives to our employees.  My vision is to immerse our employees in all topics related to what we do so that they fully  understand the scope of their work and what it takes to do it right.  I hope you enjoy the articles presented in this issue of “Coffey Break” and that you comprehend the depth of understanding of the process of releasing medical information our representatives bring to your facility.
