• The file is quality checked by the CMIS health document specialist at your facility.
• The CMIS health document specialist will log into the CMI-Secure website while at your facility and direct the website to grab the requested scanned medical record.
• The CMI-Secure website encrypts the file and stores it on a secured server.
• The requestor receives a HIPAA compliant email notification once the file is on the server.
• The requestor now has access to the requested medical record and may download it at any time over the next 30 days.

Sound like a quick and smooth process? It is. To date the quickest response time has been 23 seconds. That means when the CMIS health document specialist uploaded the file onto the server, 23 seconds later the requestor had the file downloaded and available for their purposes.

Why are we so proud of this? Because we know it is the best system available. Systems used by other ROI outsource companies actually create delays in the delivery of the medical records because their processes are cumbersome and require the scanned records to be sent to a central location before records are actually released to the requester.
